RAW = REAL. In powerlifting, RAW means we use little to no gear. RAW means relying only on yourself and your own abilities, your commitment and your own sheer will. RAW lifting builds character, intelligence and grit. Ultimately, RAW lifting will make you stronger than geared lifters.  

Our goal is to help you reach your raw potential. We’ll help you find natural paths and trainers to help you earn greater strength, speed and agility. We currently offer certified training for:

MEET the TEAM

ROBERT KNUTSSON, OWNER

Among the many great lifters and coaches at RAW Performance is Robert Knutsson, hailing from Grums, Sweden. “Big Sweed” has competed as a raw powerlifter for over 10 years and has been training for over 20. At his current weight of approximately 285 pounds, Robert’s best raw powerlifting total to date is 2,111lbs. While in the 242lb weight class, he ranked 6th in the world. He is currently ranked 22nd of All-Time in the 275 weight class, as well as 7th in the world.

SARA RUBENSTEIN, COACH

Training clients since 2019, Sara is a NASM-certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Corrective Exercise Specialist. She will provide the guidance, support, and programming you need to establish consistency and see results. Want to get strong? Lose body fat? Feel better and more functional? My patients and clients range from top level athletes to those just trying to get through the work week pain free.
